vaccum problems on a 88 jeep cherokee?

i hear a hissing noise from maybe the intake is this common and will this badly effct the jeeps performance?
 
any vac leak is bad take a can of carb cleaner and spray around everything and when it sounds like it,s going to die that you bad spot it may just be a easy fix line or sensor
