I just wanted to get an opinion on the idea. I have a story of a vampire in modern time who just woke up after an almost 200 year sleep (his past and his love for a human girl are also part of the story "he is writing") and spends so much time ranting about how inaccurate most vampire novels are. I just don't know how much of his book should be dedicated to his rant when the rest of it is his love for the human girl who woke him, his past, his opinion on other things, and other such things such as explaining why he thinks the way he thinks (example: why he finds his weird hobby of making Frankenstein teddy bears full of human blood to destroy them to be entertaining).
Please let me know how much of it should be dedicated to the rant of his hatred for vampire novels besides "it's based on his personality so it's up to you" since he's the type that could write a whole volume for each novel he hates and then some or just a simple sentence of "they all need to be burned, end of story."
