[QUOTE="ChalCha, post: 2135949, member: 660591"] So, I have a roommate and this is my first time ever having one. I met her at my job (i dont work there anymore) and the reason i am doing the while roommate thing is because my husband is in iraq and i thought i could save some money, so anyways. She is very, very controlling she always comes behind me turning off the light that i have on and keeps the lights on in the living room and turns and leaves lights on as she pleases. i pay half all the utililties and she always says stuff like your gonna let smoke in my house, mind u i dont smoke she does and she says because the door is temporarily open i am gonna let smoke in her house and she tries treating me like i am a guest in HER house all the time and no she did not have the place prior to us moving in however she hurry up and picked the house signed the lease and everything without me even knowing it and she keeps saying " im not gonna be able to afford my half soon", but she tried treating me like i am a guest and like i should not be here. she even tried telling me in her own way that i could not put my things in the frig.... i am sooooo sick of it. she treats me like crap when other people r around. She even told my husband that she was going to put him out if he does not put her toilet seat down, this is when he was home on vacation or shall i say r and r. we never established an official moveout date for me, but i wanna move as soon as possible. i gave her 300 deposit and she always claims to be broke and says that she can barely pay her bills.what is your opinion about the deposit situation???what should i do??
