So I want to make a call right now to my gf and shes on a different provider. the thing is I share like 750 min. with my family every month and right now we're down to like 11 min. for the rest of the month. But i really need to talk to her. Im just worried I'll mess something up and use the min. and my parents will murder me and make me pay the overages. So if I call right now will it be off peak cause its a weekend? and will it show as min. used online?

First of all if you have unlimited nights and weekends on your plan then you can call anyone starting on Friday nights after 9:01 pm and all day Saturdays and Sundays until 11:59 pm. This is considered off peak time and considered free.

Remember that if your plan has free weeknights (Monday to Friday) from 9:01 pm to 5:59 am then this is offpeak time as well and the calls are free unlimited.

Offpeak times shows on the bill how long you were on the call but you will not be charged any amount.

do a survey on wireless subscribers in the united states to see which customers are least familiar with their plan they pay for as well as how to do things like text message and use mobile web. You'll be surprised which carrier comes up on top of customer unawareness/stupidity. I'm guessing its verizon. Oh yeah and look into which customers have the hardest time choosing between two flip phones to upgrade at a 2year contract with. Verizon wins again
