I have been having trouble with my LG Octane phone with verizon service. a few months ago, my former LG Octane broke due to a friend's dog and I needed a new phone as my 2 year renewal wasn't up for another year. I scoured craigslist (i'm aware of the risks) and found a seller for an LG Octane. Turns out the seller used to work for LG and now works at AT & T, and had a whole bunch of LG phones. I bought an LG Octane new, never opened in the box and had the phone confirmed at a verizon store to make sure it was legit. They activated my service that day. I have unlimited text messaging and now sometimes get texts late, sometimes as late as 5 hours. Some of these texts are extremely important and I can't miss them. I have NEVER had this problem with my former Octane. I am still at the same house with the same service so I know it's not the location. Any suggestions?
