Victoria's fires, what can i do?

I'm from Western Australia and thought i'd post a thread to show my respect to those who have lost their homes,things they have worked so hard for, possessions, friends, animals and family and everything else. Australia is ONE country and we will help you get through this tough time even though we won't be able to heal what you've seen or lost our hearts are with you.

For those IDIOTS who get a kick out or lighting fires, i hope you rot in . jail and i say that in confidence. You've course heartache to families all over the country, Australia is hurting. I have no rellies over there but it breaks my heart to see the pain these fire bugs have caused. And for the fires which naturally started...nature is uncontrollable and unexpected.

For all the people lost, their animals and the wildlife along with their homes Australia is grieving with you. And the people who have done this you i hope you caught.

Can blood be donated from W.A and sent to Victoria? Or does anyone know any sites that i can donate (money/clothes) easily for the red cross or RSPCA?

It's not just Australia that is shocked and saddened by the events in Victoria, many friends in the UK have called me to ask if we are alright and to offer shelter and plane fares to get to a haven with them. We are just the same as all other humans. Australia does not have the monopoly on caring, all people care and as long as we keep telling ourselves that we are somehow better than others we won't grow up and realize that we are just as good as anyone else. Our convict past is long gone.
