The Dane was wildly erratic with her forehand, sending easy shots long or wide throughout the one hour, 52 minute match. Her serve was so bad that one bounced inside her own service box.</p><p></p><p> Vinci took advantage. She applied pressure in hitting the ball deep and rattled off six straight games in the second set after falling behind 5-1.</p><p></p><p> In what you may consider a coincidence, but I regard as the daily byproduct of the job, Vinci's victory came two days after she began a career as a tennis blogger.
