Vista Notepad Gadget that saves data?

I had Vista and I downloaded a gadget that was a notepad, it looked like the yellow one that came standard with Vista except you would log in with this one so your data would never be lost. Well pc crashed and I am on Win 7 but I can not find that gadget and I am unable to copy it from my old Vista so does anyone know the name of that one?
