im using vista home basic sp1, and when starting up it goes to a blue screen saying something along the lines of c:/windows/winsxs/manifest is corrupt, i have ran the start up repair tool and it does nothing, iv ran the chkdsk thing. and i some how have no restore points so i cant take that option so does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problem. and before it happened i had a bitdefender upgrade that required me to restart and installed o&o defrag 12.
