Voicemail set up query with Blackberry ?

I am trying to set up a new voicemail greeting on my blackberry curve but after I record the new greeting it asks me to press "hash" to confirm and I cannot access the "hash" key at the time. Is there another way of confirming the recording or another way of getting to the "hash" key?
