VW 2001 JETTA cannot open trunk?

Dear all,
My car is VW 2001 JETTA
I got a proble with my trunk.
After I wahed my car, I closed my trunk.
When I arrived at home, I wanted to open the trunk.
I found my trunk is not working.
I pulled the driver side switch and used my key to open the trunk both of them are not working.
Could any body tell me how to open it manually?
How much money if I have to repair it?

you can go behind the seat(if possible) and look if a shirt or something is stuck on the latch and most cars have a pull switch to the trunk be hind the back seat try to pull that hard
