I own a 2002 Golf (petrol). This problem started only recently. while accelerating in 2nd or 3rd gear, the engine looses power for a second or two but it recovers immediately. This doesn't happen all the time, just comes up randomly. Can anyone advise what this could be caused by and what the cost of repair is?
