I have a 2000 VW Beetle GLS 2.0, 110,000 miles.. I've been having issues with the electronic gas cap since I bought it (used). I know some VW's are known for electronic issues, and I was just curious if this may be one of them? The gas cap still disengages, but I have to sit there and play with the release switch on the door for numerous minutes (Up to 20 minutes once!).. What's wrong with my Bug? :[
