Hiya,
I have the above car and recently she's started not starting. When you turn the key she doesn't turn over, theres just an electronic noise? Last week had the throttle body cleaned and checked, the fuel filter and whole fuel system cleaned out including all sensors, battery was checked and drained, the starter motor was checked and is ok, key signal/frequency checked also but ok and the alternator was checked and is ok. Put her on the diagnostic machine and the only error that came back was about the immobiliser.Immobiliser was reset as car was cutting out at lights and roundabouts. Since the immobiliser was reset the cutting out has stopped completely. Some mornings when you try to start her she wont start the firts time but if you leave her for 5 mins she'll start no problem and run all day. Other days she doesn't start at all and I have to bump or jump start her. Thinking this must be a mechanical fault as its no showing up on the diagnostic report? Timing belt is getting replaced on wednesday as she's just hitting 60,000 miles and she'll be serviced then as well. Any ideas why she isn't starting? Could it be a loose connection/wire? Any ideas most appreciated.
Thanks in advance guys. Ps when you jump start her she'll run for 8/9 days then it's back to not starting! Cheers x Oops, air filter checked too x
