I own a 1996 1.4 VW polo. I am having intermittent problems with the speedo. The other day I was driving it and the speedo dropped to 0 when I quite clearly doing 30mph. Then after 20 seconds it went back to normal. It has done it again since but this time it was for 5 minutes and only went back to normal once the car was turned off and switched back on again.
Any suggestions to hy this is happening?
