So. My husband bought a fudge torte from walmart. He loved it... and now wants me to bake him something just like it. Anyone have any links to help me out?
I see 4 components:
The cake bit
The between-cake-layers frosting (not very sweet, very fluffy)
The thick fudge-y top layer
White Chocolate Curls
Now, I can manage, I figure, everything.. except the light fluffy not-too-sweet frosting. So, I suppose technically, a 'taste-alike' recipe for the frosting alone would be great.
But, any help is awesome
I googled around a bit, but the internet doesn't' seem to be able to agree on what a 'torte' is
