so i bought a blackberry (no contracts) and i want to use pay as you go but The rogers store man said that i cant use it for internet.... was he right???

he must of been. because i have a BlackBerry (paid off, no contract) and I use pay as you go. I have the Socialite 20$ plan too from Rogers and I have Internet ?
