If we go there because she is sick, I know she is not herself. She tells me there is nothing wrong with her and that I am a bad influence on her and a bad parent because that is what my daughter believed at the time. If my daughter who is now recovered tells her she feels weird and is having strange thoughts and the nurse laughs at her, and treats her like a joke. If she says there is nothing wrong and come back in 6 months and by that time she was really sick and then they said there was something wrong. Should I make a complaint about this nurse? She is still there and my daughter nearly died because she said there was nothing wrong.

Absolutely file a complaint! Anyone with a mental problem needs help & understanding, this nurse is in the wrong field, if she thinks she's so funny, maybe she should be a comedian instead of a nurse!

ah yes... nurses are evil at times.. this one had no right to laugh, infact she shouldnt have made ANY comment about your daughters situation, unless it was a positive one. If i were you i would make a complaint (even though nothing will most likely become of the neg complaint) atleast you would be making that nurses attitude aware to her staff members. mental health issues are the number one misjudged illness, and often 'laughed off'... but it is a serious matter, and i feel sorry for your daughter who had to experience one of the million terrible nurses. complain to the admin of the hospital, or the nursing suppervisor... that nurse would be canned quick in my work... what a B****
