Was Thomas Malthus a prophet, or God, comparable to Jesus Christ?

People often say "God works in mysterious ways." Thomas Malthus makes those ways seem less mysterious.

As population growth out paces the availability of food, conflict, and misery arises. When natural disasters occur, Thomas Malthus, (and presumably God) figure that the problem is being reduced. That a more natural, and sustainable population is being preserved.

If two thousand years ago, God used a human (Jesus Christ) to spread his message of love, and compassion. Then two hundred years ago God used a human (Thomas Malthus) to spread his message of a sustainable population.

God's goal for humanity has always been for peace, love, purity, and goodness inherent to all human beings to thrive. Although, as society evolves, different ways of spreading that message are necessary.
