has stopped eating and has? started peeing in the house next to the litter tray, he was out all last night came in this morning and immediately peed. Any ideas how to stop this. Also the blooming dog has started pooing in the night, even though he has plenty of opportunity to go outside and do his business he gets 3 good walks a day. Help!!!

You need to call the vet. A cat can develope fatty liver disease QUICKLY without eating. I am talking very quickly. I can't answer you question and neither can anyone else here because we are not vets. As for the pooping dog, I like crate training.

1. Cage for the dog: cage train and you won't wake up to bombs on the floor. Great training tool, too. Get books about cage training.
2. Take cat to the vet. For whatever reaon, he may have a bladder infection. Perhaps he avoided the box (which can lead to problems in the urinary tract) due to dogs in the way, or any number of other reasons, but urinating outside the box, and especially near the box is a sign of a possible bladder infection.
