appreciate her? It's been nearly two and a half years now, and I just don't know what to say. I want to tell her that I appreciate her and that I'm really happy we were friends, but I'm afraid that'll be awkward--seeing as we completely lost contact for a while.. I just don't know how to go about saying it. I feel like if I had a start, I could go from there..but I have no start. I'm at a complete loss for words. I feel terrible, because when it comes down to it, I was the one who "gave up."

We were best friends since--what?--elementary school. Then I switched schools (I was in the eighth grade, now I'm in tenth) and that's when we started growing apart.

I've been through a lot these past two or so years (deaths and divorce and moving...) and it's been hard. I've been thinking about what really matters most to me (looking at the big picture and what not). I've only a few people I've really become close to--she was one of them. I want to tell her that I really do appreciate her, and even though we haven't talked for years..I..and.. I JUST DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO SAY! I don't know how to say what I feel! This is so aggravating! I really need help:/

Thoughts? Ideas? Any help at all..?
Thanks much
