Weird smell coming through air vents when heat is on.?

So this morning my heat stopped being hot, which was a huge bummer in the 11 degrees that it was.... and then this afternoon a nasty vomit-like smell started coming out of the (now working) heat. My sister was with me, and said it smelled like antifreeze, so I'm betting that's a bad thing. What should I do??

if your smelling antifreeze in your car then your heater core has a leak and needs replacing, it is located in the passenger dash area, radiator fluid circulates through it to send heat to the car if there is a leak your heater will more than likely start blowing cool air sooner than later.

sounds like your heater matrix is leaking, check to see if your front carpets wet
