weird symbol on the screen of my sony Erickson w580i mobile phone what is it ?

There is a symbol of what looks like to tower blocks one in the front is larger than the one behind and they are blue and in the top left hand corner next to the signal bars. What are they and how do i get rid of them ? Please help it is very irritating thankyou

That symbol is for the normal profile. If you go into the menu, then settings and select profiles you'll see the same symbol.
