Aren't you putting the cart before the horse opening a store BEFORE you know anything about how you're going to stock it? That's pretty stupid! Did you even bother with any "minor technicalities" like getting a business license or business Tax ID? Assuming you HAVE done those things, you need to find a wholesaler (in case you don't know what THAT is either, it's a supplier who purchases in bulk and at cost and re-sells to you for a slight profit, which then YOU have to mark up for retail sale to customers. BTW good luck with that kind of business! With huge retailers like Tower Records and Blockbuster and Circuit City going belly-up, you'll never make enough to stay afloat, and being a new business you won't get the merchandise on credit 'cause you have no previous references. Like I said, good luck with that! Not to mention the fact that physical DVDs, blu-rays and CDs are going to go the way of the covered wagon the way "cloud" and streaming technology are moving. Your timing couldn't be worse!
