Were they really thinking about saving Alexis Grace on Idol?

Yet again one of my brilliant answers sparked me to ask this controversal question. Alright last night something really had my eyebrows raising. When they said they were considering using the save 'OF THE ENTIRE SEASON' already on Alexis Grace? Something just tells me they had extra time (much like the previous night) and just said that. If that's true, that's f'ed up..she got SO damn nervous like she was fighting for her life. We as an audience CANNOT put ourselves in her situation. Anyway who else has the sneaking suspecison they were not gonna use the save all along on Alexis Grace?

Disclaimer: I definately don't think she shoulda been the one who went home, she shoulda easily made top 8.

That was bs... she sang her little heart out thinking she was going to be saved all for the let down... I figured so.. They will save it for someone like Allision...
