A microphone and mega-watt Public Address system, and still they scream and shout and rave in a voice a dozen octaves above normal. Does this loosen up Believer's checkbooks, or what?

I'm a Christian, devout, devoted to Christ, a student/teacher of thirty years - and wow, I can't click the clicker fast enough by them before getting a damn headache. i have no idea
what's with them, unless its just some way of getting the crowd onto an emotional high, all frenzied up or something.
Its weird, and I'll tell ya something else thats weird -
those nutjobs who speak gibberish unknown bla bla bla and say they are speaking in tongues. If someone does that crap near me, I'm running........freakin weirdos

They're enthusiastic and rarely think about what they say. They rely on emotion and try to skirt around reason. They are unreasonable, irrational, and they like being that way.
