what all do i need to connect to the internet with my PS2?

i have the computer (duh u need one) i have the PS2, the game, the ethernet cable, and a high speed internet. if there is anything, even one small detail i missed tell me. also i need to know how to get my hands on my computers IP address and DNS thingy. putting these in steps will help me greatly so i dont have to call Geek Squad to come and hook it up.
