what are my rights to a fake witness report to an car accident?

i was in a car accident with another person, and there were no witnesses at the scene but later one called the police so my question is can i fight against the guy in court about lieing to the cops using his friend on the phone calling in to say they saw the accident
 
Of course you do. Remember this friend who is a liar won't know specific details. Just be sure you ask questions that demand detailed answers. This so called witness won't know the answers, the judge will see it, and it should be a done deal. Should be, but then I have little faith in our justice system. Good luck!
