What are problems with the Htc One x? Should I Give Up My Iphone 3 for it?

I've had my Iphone 3 for I think 2years. I wanna get another phone but cheap. It's what 20 $ NOT BAD AT ALL. I just don't want to get it then end up without a phone. That would suck. I also wanna buy one for my boyfriend. I wanna suprise him with it. I wanna wrap it in a nice gift & not tell him anything or when I got it & get him to come over & give it to him & see his big smile on his face. BUT first I wanna make sure there's no problems, the battery is okay, & it's a good phone & lasts for years.. By the way is there problems with the charger? Is the battery going to quite? Is the hearing on that phone okay? What apps can you download on it? Is it a better phone than the iphone 3? Can you put ringtones on it? ALSO Can you transfer the stuff you have on your phone now to the new phone you buy?

HELP? ANSWERS? ADVICE? SUGGESTIONS? OPINIONS? ANYTHING?, Accept No Rude Responses. Thanks. :)

Im no phone expert but my sister got that HTC phone and it's been dumb lately. She's only had it for a month and it keeps acting stupid, calling people without her even doing it, turning off and on on her, the apps are great though and it looks very nice haha but if ur iPhone is working great then y change? Save money and buy the phone for ur boyfriend. The charging thing is also another problem since it has no battery, so if it messes up then u gotta return it and get a new one. It does have customizable ringtones u can make but the hearing thing is also another thing thats messed up on my sisters phone. It has it's ups and Downs but on-the-job end ita your own decision (: I hope I was of help, Cya!
