If you're going to do it yourself, I suggest searching on youtube for how to do prom hairstyles, there are so many! If you're going to a stylist, then I suggest googling some celebrities you like and putting updos, or hairstyles after their names

half up half down w curls. have a side pony tail also curly, like a bun? leave your bangs out if you have any and some pieces along your hairline. and you could leave your hair down, except one side.. pull it up into a bobby pin above your ear, tease your hair, an add a flower? have fun w it!!
