What are some really interesting argumentative research paper topics?

We're writing an argumentative research paper for our class and i can't think of a good enough topic! It has to be relevant, recent, but uncommon, also i have to have a stand with it because we're going to have some sort of paper defense. HELP ME PLEASE! Not to be picky, but i really don't work well with topics like government politics, medicine, history.. What topics can you suggest for me? :)
 
Why american's over 300lb should be denied chocolate (it helps them for maintain sugar level, in the process it makes chocolate more safe as it needs to be security compromised and cocoa is being consumed at a rate of faster than it can be produced and chocolate prices will increase 10 fold or higher)
 
Practicing euthanasia on humans. If you don't know what euthanasia is it's mercy killing in a humane way I.e. Taking someone off life support or if a person in immense pain lethally injecting them.
