RULES:
-must not be a dinky FWD 4cyl economy car that just so happens to have 2 doors. (e.g. civic coupe) i don't care if it's an Si or has vtec or whatever. i don't want FWD. i already have one.
-must have a good power-to-weight ratio
-easy/cheap to maintain
-REAR wheel drive (may consider awd)
-preferably a 6 cylinder (e.g. bmw 325i from the 90s or non-turbo 300zx)
so.....? i guess i really just want something that's reliable, cheap to maintain, to be my daily driver, while giving me that sporty coupe feeling when i drive it.
let me clarify v8's are welcomed. it just seems like american v8s are under powered. the 90s mustang gt only makes 215hp while the non turbo v6 300zx makes 222hp. makes no sense to get that GT.
KEY POINT: will NOT want to modify anything. i don't plan on spending billions on making the engine more powerful. most i will do is better tires, new shocks and springs, and brakes. that's IT.
