What are the law limitations when it comes to discussing patients at a facility

of work? A friend of mine is worried because on facebook she was talking about a resident who is abusive towards staff going into detail about how he's inflicting bruises on them and is really mean. Also mentioned the name of the unit(but NOT PLACE OF WORK) although her place of work is shown on her profile, but mentioned the unit number and said that it's considered a psych ward now. She did mention the DON's name saying that "she" (don's name) allows him to come back to this place of work even after he is 302'd. But she did not mention the patient's name. Someone told on her..this person went to that DON(dean of nursing) and now she's afraid of getting into trouble. Could she legally get into trouble. Thank u.
