What are the physical differenes between the AT&T and Verizon iPhone 4G? Also what

the hell is CDMA? I live in the UK and we just have 1 version (I think)....are there any physical differences between the AT&T and Verizon versions in the US as I'm going to buy a case for mine but have no idea which version I have...the store I purchased if from doesn't know either.
 
You have the GSM version of the iPhone which is the one that AT&T sells. CDMA is a different type of cell phone network which is not used in the UK.
 
The volume buttons are lower to make room for the new cmda antena. CMDA is an older network technology that dosn't use sim cards so you will not be able to use it with any uk carrier even if you unlock it. CMDA is also slower than GSM which is what the UK, AT&T, and most of the world uses. GSM provides higher speeds and you can talk and surf at the same time.
