What are the rules and regulations about selling replicas?

I know where i am from in the uk people have been hit very hard by the credit crunch and was thinking about starting up a business selling replicas from a chinese wholesaler.
Not sure about rules etc as there seem to be different rules for different products, can anybody help me?
