what are those sweaters that are shaped kind of like bells?

my friend was wearing a really cute oversized sweater the other day
it was big on her but then at the end of the sweater it curved inward and had a strip of cloth tight around her legs
ive seen other people wear these kinds of swearers before and i really want one but idk what they are called?
im sorry i cant describe it well....D;
i asked my friend but she said it was her dad's old sweater
so idk?
