The car runs fine for 20 or so min's then all of a sudden runs rough, hesitates and stalls out completely. So far ive fixed the following and to know avail.. flex pipe and catalytic converter, fuel pump & filter, battery, coil packs & spark plugs and the throttle position sensor. i can tell its something minor but the guessing game is killing my wallet !!! I did all the work on my car by myself except the converter so if you can point me in the right direction i should be able to complete. Any help would be great to solve this mystery

I'll bet if you took it to a mechanic, they would have fixed it cheaper that what you've spent on it so far.

It's almost impossible to troubleshoot from here. All we can do it guess, the same thing you're doing. I'm presuming you don't have an CEL light illuminated until the engine shuts down - normal. So we can probably rule out emissions issues.

You replaced the battery. Why? Was the battery dead? Then your alternator isn't providing the electrical power to run the car. The battery can only run the car for so long before it loses the energy to keep it running.

Is the car dying due to fuel starvation? If the vent line from the vapor canister to the fuel tank is restricted or plugged, you can run for a while before the fuel pump can't suck the fuel out of the tank. Disconnect the vapor line at the canister that goes to the fuel tank and see if the problem persists. You can loosen the gas cap as a substitute if your fuel tank is less than 3/4 full.

had a car do similar thing to me try replacing the o2 sensors may be crankshaft position sensor or map sensor over heating (as many cars can do) try mass air flow sensor as well (located after air filter and before throttle body in air intake) if check engine light is on it would help to know code to help point you in right direction

throttle position sensors hardldy ever go bad. definitely dont replace anything by guessing. is there a check engine light on? thatll be your first hint on where to look. sounds like it could be an ignition module...once it heats up it shorts out. try letting the car run and spraying it with water and/or tapping it with the plastic handle of a screwdriver.

if there is no cel/ses light the likely hood of it being a map or crank sensor lessen. usually a malfunction in either one will throw a code.

I'm thinking fuel system. Apart from the fuel filter (number one cause), a contaminated gas tank could cause this same effect. Then there are possible fuel line restrictions, and/or partially clogged fuel injectors that may be involved. When an engine acts like it's running out of gas, it usually is. One way or another. I would start with the gas tank and double check the rest of the fuel system components. You can't rule out that your new fuel pump could be defective. It's rare, but it does happen.
