I no longer have a sinus infection, but when I do get them... they stay for months and sometimes, even years. I have to take antibiotics to get rid of them. I plan on going to the dentist for my teeth, as well. Also, I have a thyroid nodule and it's been hanging around for quite a few years. I do get it checked on from time-to-time, though. Anyway, could any of these cause a lymph-node on the mastoid bone to stay enlarged for years... or, do you know of any other possible causes? I'm scared that it could be a symptom of lymphoma, or even thyroid cancer. I do plan on seeing a doctor about this issue, so no need to tell me that - lol. I'm just a hypochondriac and like getting extra advise, even if it only puts my mind at ease for a minute.</p></blockquote><p></p>
