registered to me.? I left my car with my father several months ago because he had a friend interested in buying the car. I was more than happy to deal with the sale and all. Shortly after leaving the car there, my father and I got into an argument. A few days later, I went to the house, and my car was gone. I asked around and heard that my dad lent the car to an employee of his. Some time passed and I was waiting for things to settle between him and I, and for the car to return. Nothing changed. I contacted the police to report a stolen vehicle as I did not know who was driving my car or where it was. They denied my claim and would not help me at all. I asked my insurance agency what to do, and they were stumped. Now, I hear that my father sold the car. I was never contacted in the event of a lien sale, or anything else. I looked up the laws on lien sale vehicle, and whoever sold the vehicle had to give me notice first. Does anyone know what I can do in this situation?
