...two sides.”? I know it has something to do with the left and right hemispheres, but I'm not sure exactly what he means here.
 
Sperry won the Nobel Prize for studying people who had their cerebral hemispheres disconnected from one another by cutting the corpus callosum to stop the spread of seizures. The two hemispheres created very different behaviors based on which hemisphere was stimulated by sensory information.
