What did the Remi Brothers take pictures of in Gossip Girl (Book 1)?

In the chapter titled "S Tries to Improve Herself" Serena goes to a gallery where the "Remi Brothers" are showcasing their photography. The book doesn't say what the pictures are actually of (they're described as; eyes, bellybuttons, gunshot wound). I am completely confused and desprate for an answer.
