Forgive me here, I'm quite uneducated when it comes to this stuff.
Okay, right now, on my second floor, I have a modem/router hooked up to one computer. Using this, I've been able to wirelessly connect a second computer, a laptop, and my Xbox 360 to the internet.
However, my Xbox is in the basement, and the connection down there is terrible. Now, normally I wouldn't buy stuff to make the connection down there better for just a gaming system, but we're planning on putting a computer in the basement too.
So my question is, what do I need to make a new wireless connection in my basement? Do I need to buy something that connects to a phone outlet, and then a router to split it between the new computer and the Xbox?
P.S. Sorry, don't know what my ISP is.
