People in America have snubbed their noses at God for so long now that other nations are coming over and establishing their religious beliefs among us. And all we do is continue going to the ball game, camping, boating, shopping, working... or anything else to fill our time up so we're to busy for God. Wake up folks it's almost too late.
75% of Americans may call themselves christians but that doesn't make it true Rev. You better wake up sir.
Angel: Come now, you meant to say freedom FROM religion, didn't you?
Mouse: The communist countries have always been secular nations America has not.
Dani: God knows that SIN is the main problem with us living however we choose. Sin is destroying our society here and all over the world. Jesus shed his blood to pay the penalty for sin. But we then resist sin in our own hearts, sometimes resisting our very own desires, sometimes NOT doing what we FEEL like doing. God's love strengthens us. Sin is the culprit.
Rallie: Not trumpeting, just shaking the sleeping ones. And my examples are a mystery to you, not knowing me.
Perspire: I don't care about other peoples culture. What I do care about is whether Jesus Christ sits upon the throne of their hearts. If they refuse Jesus they refuse God's only prescription for Sin. Is this thinking to narrow minded for you?

It seems like you posted this question not so much to enlighten yourself but to pick a fight with people who respond. Seems like you already made up your mind that other cultures are taking over America, and seems like you don't think that this is a good thing. Well, consider this, we WERE the "other cultures" at one time. Those "Indians" that were here first didn't invite us, yet look at who is living in reservations now? Personally, I don't see anything wrong with Muslims, or Jews, or Christians, or Buddhists, quietly worshipping their deities. Criminals and terrorists come in all shapes and colors, but most people just want to live in peace.

We still live in the land of Freedom of Religion.

GOD BLESS YOU!

They do not call it a church. they call it Mosque.
It is okay with me just as long as they do not use loud speakers to wake me up too early in the morning.
You have never been to Middle East. They have mosque for every 500 families in one place. You hear their callings five times a day from a loud speakers of their mosque and a roving suburban along the neighborhood urging everyone to pray with the same intense. Yet on Ramadan when they are suppose to fast and observe, those with means and money have to book themselves to far places and enjoy the days frolicking and drinking. They are just the same as most Catholics who runs away to places to enjoy at the time of lent.
Instead of trumpeting your righteousness, go about your business and you may be able to gather more by setting example than blabbering about the things you see.

Snubbing our noses at God? 75% of Americans are Christian. Muslims make up less than 5%. Go find some other boogie man to be afraid of.

muslims don't have 'churches', we have mosques. please educate yourself and instead of being paranoid, try improving yourself first. I thought america was supposed to be a free country

Well everyone has their own religion. Are you gonna burst into the Muslim churches and start trying to get people to convert? Don't you think we can all be equal and just live our own? Don't blame Muslims for the fact that people want to be more secular and do things like shopping, ball games, camping etc instead of going to Church every Sunday and praying to God at night! If this "God" created man, wouldn't he want us to live how we felt comfortable, I mean we were supposedly forgiven of our sins already or something like that. Apparently Jesus died on the cross for us to be forgiven, and he died even though the people didn't believe he was the Masiah so I'm sure "God" can forgive us/them?

I am an atheist, and I'm sorry if my logic of the Bible and biblical scriptures etc is wrong, but I've never really read the Bible so I wouldn't know... only been to church since my parents had made me...

The US has always been a secular nation.

There is one mosque in my entire county, that hardly seems like an uprising to me. There are however no fewer than eight christian churches in the 3 miles between my house and my kids school. Gee, I wonder who's the persecuted majority again?

edit:
You are very mistaken. Go read the First Amendment again.
