What do you think about the new DRM system introduced by Ubisoft?

As most of you know, the new PC title from the Assassin's Creed franchise is using a copy protection system that forces the player to be online all the time while playing. Furthermore, the game costs around 60$ in US which is very expensive for a PC title.
