Paul Elder experienced 3 near death experiences and numerous out of body experiences. He has a credible background and published his experiences in a book: Eyes of an Angel.

My question is do you believe him? The problem for me is that his experiences seem to be more 'far fetched' than the usual NDEs and OBEs. Yet he never acknowledges that there may be potential skeptism about this.

I know he wouldn't lie to his family and friends, and he has a credible background. Testimonials from a single credible person such as him have put people to death, so is this enough to believe?

The short answer? Yes. Since I was eight, I've had both voluntary and involuntary OBE's. The things I experience, I rarely talk about, as only the most open minded people believe me. There are far more things in the world of spirit than man is capable of imagining...

I have worked in hospitals for the last 30 years, and I have heard near death experiences related to me from children as young as three to people in their eighties, and here is my conclusion

'that thing is real that is real in its consequences'

without exception, every person who I met that had a near death experience were not afraid of death, were reassured that having a religion is an impediment to knowing 'truth', and were the most peaceful people I know
