What do you think of the emo style? [Nowadays]?

Okay this my friend Diam who wants to turn emo...and whatever, because it is popular in my place...I'm telling her not to turn into one, because that is not her, and emo style is overrated...
but she wants your opinions...what is your opinion on that?

and i am sorry if i labeled or offended anyone.

people think anything is emo. Like if i wear something relating to "emo" its automatically labeled. like scene hair.. its just hair, but now its a "scene" thing. People say emos are individuals and are different and unique, but that is quite the opposite. She should do whatever she wants. She will be known as it though.

Dude emo is the stupidist fuckin thing next to being a prep. I hate when people feel like they got to change into a complete different thing, 'because they think its cool', i am all sorts of styles i guess. I wear fishnets and a corset one day, then tight jeans and bright colored shirt the next. Tell her just to go along with anytype [not just one] that she likes, and not to completely change her style just cuz its popular. [and trust me that stupid emo shit is popular everywhere] soif she wants to go emo[which means emotional she needs to start being depressed hate her life and cut herself,wear 10pounds of eyeliner and start up on some heroin] sorry if i offended u but emos are just the most retarded thing ever created

Emo kids are annoying. Emo stands for EMOtional. All they do is stand around in their little groups and look depressed. Like Goth kids with more style.

Emo kids say they are non-conformists. But honestly the all dress and act exactly the same.
