There are so ways people express the ways they have had to deal with povery in society. Also they are endless songs , movies and books expressing about people who have money that take advantage of those who do not. The Horatio Alger book called Ragged Dick and The Pearl also Mice and Men written by John Steinbeck all deal with the many aspects of inhumanity ,greed and the American Dream where its believed through hard work , strong ethics , and being respectful a person can achieve a better life for themselves. I believe both of these aspects to be true to those who are in poverty and those who are rich.
“Ragged Dick” and “The Pearl and Mice and Men" , both are about poverty but they have very different outcomes when characters try to overcome their misfortune. In both Horatio Alger book and John Steinbeck the main characters are impoverished. In ‘’ Ragged Dick”, Alger writes about a little boy living on the streets of New York City. The little boy names Ragged Dick and, quite often reference as the “Hero” , is living and sleeping in the streets while earning wages by boot shining and selling news papers. He lives alone without parents or any guardians looking after him .Though through his misfortune has comes in contact with a bit of luck when he meets a wealthy man and his son from the country. John Steinbeck main characters in both of his books are in penniless positions but the outcomes are the complete opposite from what happens to the little boy ,''Ragged Dick''. In the Mice and Men there is two men , who are ranch workers ,who are running away from the law in the beginning of the book .On their way to an another job , hoping the job when help them recognize their dreams , bad luck follows them. Right at the beginning of the book, the bus driver’s intentional lies to them about how far they are to the ranch they’re about to work on. The John Steinbeck book’s continues on with misfortune as the same with “The Pearl”. They go through many hardships without reaching their goals and in the end the dream is lost because the evils of the world. In the Ragged Dick Horatio teaches the morals of the American Dream , that every boy can go from rags to riches if he works hard , honest , has good manners and is a respectable person. Both extremes that are taught either in Horatio and Steinbeck are true to life you can turn your life around if you work hard and have decent manners but the world is also a evil place where sometimes dreams do not come true.

Its good you just need to fix the errors in it and underline the books titles...

the ideas you have are ok, but you need to work on the following:
1. your grammar - the best way to get your message to the readers is a grammatically correct write-up.
2. flow - i can get your ideas but they seem to be jumbled. organize and give a smooth flow to what you wanted to say.

good luck!
