What does BMW Select mean?

Do the math. At $457/mth for 36mths with $2,500 down, that comes out to about $19,500. That is most certainly a lease. You DON'T get to keep a new BMW for that kind of money, sorry. Not even if you add another $10k on to that price.

On the BMW Website, when you choose estimate payment you can choose payment options like Finance, Lease, Performance loan and BMW Select. What is that? BMW says that for a 2008 BMW 128i with a down payment of $2500 and a 36 month term the monthly payment would be $457. Is it like leasing? Or do I get to keep the BMW? Can someone please help me out?
