What does it mean to be human in regards to dignity and respect?

How do we judge what is right and wrong in an action?
What is your view as to how humans should choose if something is right or wrong?
Is their an innate truth to who we are?

Generally it means having neither towards other animals and most other humans.

For Christians "human dignity and respect" is usually partial and inadequate unless it is coupled with God's love . In addition our "innate truth" is both corrupted,filled with error and incomplete.That is why its essential to base decisions based on God's wisdom contained in the "owner's instruction manual",the Bible.
