In the book of Leviticus, it says that a man should not lay with a man as he would with a woman, but what about a woman laying with a woman?

Also, I read this online someplace:
"You are wrong when you say that gay sex is condemned in the Old Testament. Firstly there was no such conception of gay and straight at that time. It is wrong to assume the modern conception of gay and straight existed at that time. Second, Leviticus is absolutely not condemning gay sex. Leviticus 18:22 is speaking specifically about men lying together in pagan rituals for the purpose of idolatry. What is being condemned is the idolatry and not gay sex. To teach this is is not correct."

I've never heard that before. Is that true?

I know that homosexuality is a controversial issue, and I'm not trying to stir up any arguments. I'm just curious.
